The Story Behind Teal For Two Couples Suite...
I was on a plane returning from a cosmetic surgery meeting in California. Flipping through a spa magazine, I closed my eyes, leaned my head back on the seat and asked myself, "What would make husbands more comfortable in receiving services with their wives in the spa?"
The answer I was given: design a room similar to checking into a hotel; "their room." The couple would not need to leave the room - the service providers would come to them in "their room." So that is what we did.
The primary reason I designed "Teal For Two Couples Suite"... Rekindling relationships between the husband and wife was the primary reason. "Our time today is saturated with everything except prioritized time for the husband and wife. We HAVE to make our married relationships a priority. Typically the wife is the initiator - but that's ok," states DReed Joseph. "We were created as the caregiver by God's design, of our family and our relationships - even with our husband. Spending time at Essence of Eve Day Med Spa is like going on a mini-get-away without leaving McKinney! You will leave here ready to face your world again." Of course we use it for mothers, daughters, best friends and others.
A suggestion to make your experience more special...bring chocolate covered strawberries, your favorite cake, a cheese tray and fruit, your favorite champagne, wine or beer or if it's your anniversary or birthday - any special occasion, bring all of that! We have a full kitchen, we will love to set this up for you to enjoy in our private dining area.
A little something about the couples suite...the entire suite is teal; the color on the ceiling throughout the entire spa bathes the entire suite. It's masculine yet splashed with a little femininity and candles - lots of candles. A huge champagne bubbler tub may be a service you might choose to start your time together with. (I chose this type of tub because it blows warm air into the water, i.e.. no circulation of water through pipes, less sanitation concerns for you and us!) There is no upcharge to use the couples suite.
Spa operational policy pertaining to using the champagne bubbler tub... this time spent in our champagne bubbler tub is designed solely and only for husbands and wives and will be honored as such.
Let the Spa Concierge know when you schedule your appointment...
...if you want to keep the massage and facial services in synch, i.e., at the same time, both parties will need to have elected the same services for us to attempt this.
...if you are bringing special "goodies & beverages" for us to prepare for you.
...if you are not a 1:LYFE member receive a 5% discount when you create your own package (excluding waxing services).
...if you ARE a 1:LYFE member use your monthly prepaids to create your own package with a 10% discount for those services added not in your program (excluding waxing services).
WE DO NOT OFFER BODY POLISHES/SCRUBS IN THE TEAL FOR TWO SUITE.
If this is a service you are requesting in your "package" this service will be provided in a room adequately set up with a shower in the room rather than the suite.
