Policies
Staff, Services, Gift Card Redemption and Prices are
subject to change without notice!
This simply means that in the event you request a specific
staff member, everything will be done to accommodate your request.
In the event an unforseen event precludes this requested service provider,
we are stating we may have to change your provider. While every
effort will be made to advise you prior to your service, we still
maintain this right. There is always the possibility you may arrive and
we have not been able to advise you beforehand.
In the event your gift card is over 12 months from the issue date
and you have not used it, it will be redeemed as "Spa Dollars."
Even if the gift card may have written on it a specific service at the
time it was purchased we will convert it to the amount of Spa Dollars
initially spent. We do not however give credits in cash, check or
credit card.
Gift cards may be redeemed for services, service tips or boutique items.
We do NOT refund gift cards for
cash, credit card balance or check.
While we make every attempt to maintain competitive prices we do occasionally
have to change our prices. We will publish these online and will
advise our regular clientele of the increase. Every attempt
will be made to our regular clientele to advise them before they have
booked this service.
Securing Appointments VIP INFO TO READ!
We secure all appointments with a credit card. Unless you are receiving
gift certificate redeemed services this will always be the case.
This credit card is not charged unless you do not provide a 24 hour notice
of cancellation or if you no show your appointment. In
the event you do not provide a 24 hour notice or no show the appointment,
your credit card will be charged the
full service amount. In the event you schedule your appointment
within the 24 hour window for your service and you cancel, you will
be charged the full service amount.
Securing appointments with Dr. Joseph for consultations will also be charged
at a consultation fee of $50.
This securing of appointments is not based on the price of a service -
it is our policy applicable towards all appointments regardless of their
price.
If you are redeeming a gift card this securing will be waived as in the
case of a no show appointment or not providing 24 hour notice of cancellation.
In the event the appointment is not met the gift card will be
redeemed at 100% towards the no show or lack of notice.
Consultations
Medical Conditions
Medical Conditions Should Be
Notified To Staff!
It is imperative that upon appointment scheduling to notify
us if you have certain conditions, such as, pregnancy, allergies,
high blood pressure, diabetes, heart condition, etc., including denoting
all over the counter and prescription drugs taken. First time
visitors will complete a Client Profile Form as well as clients who
have not visited in some time. It is the client's responsibility
to make sure you keep the information updated and current.
This assists the therapist in your treatment and any limitation they
might incorporate into your service.
If You Are Receiving
Injections in the Spine or Neck for Pain Management we ask that
you not schedule a massage appointment until 24 hours post injection.
Promptness & Late Arrival
It's important to us that we have planned enough time to schedule your appointment and provide your service adequately and timely. We appreciate that you realize our livelihood is dependent upon reserving our time for our clients and the timeliness of not only our services but your promptness as well.
Should you arrive late for services your finish time will still be within the originally scheduled time while the treatment's fee will remain unchanged. Should you arrive more than 15 minutes late you may be rescheduled and charged for missed appointment.
Cancellation
With all booked services we require a credit card to be given at time of booking. The exception is when redeeming a gift certificate for services (See aboves comments, "Securing Appointments".) We require a 24 hour notice for all cancellations. If less than 24 hours of notice, we will bill your credit card for 100% of the service(s) total.
Children in Spa
Our facility is recommended for individuals 13 years and older. We may offer packages for children under the age of 13 and these children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. They will need to be advised of "spa etiquette" prior to their service - specifically, to use their "spa voice". Please ensure you have prepared them for what to expect. Under age 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children are not allowed into our treatment rooms or without supervision in our spa.
Returns
It is of utmost concern to us that you are satisfied with your retail skin, body, and nail products that you may purchase from us. Should you not be satisfied with a product within 7 days of purchase, please bring in the unused portion with your receipt so we may reevaluate your needs. We will exchange your unused portion for other product.
If You Are Pregnant
If You Are Pregnant
and in
your first trimester we have elected not to perform massages for
you until you have exceeded your first trimester. Second & third trimester
pregnancy massage can be performed on a wonderful Prego-Pillow which
allows you to lay comfortably on your stomach and receive massages up
until you deliver! We decline to provide Hot
Stone Massage on pregnant women, regardless of tri-mester. Our
"in-house" ob/gyn serving as our Medical Director, Dr. Ralph Joseph, has
suggested given the possible contraindications of this service for expectant
mothers we have opted to not provide this service until after your "stork
visit!" Laser Hair Reduction will not be performed while pregnant.
Waxing Procedures
Did you know...
|
...that waxing is regulated by the state and there are some things you need to know BEFORE you receive waxing services? The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) requires that a person hold a Cosmetologist Operators License or a Facial Specialty License in order to perform waxing services. Before you receive waxing services, make sure that:
The same wax cannot be used on more than one client. There are two ways for a shop/salon to comply with this requirement:
Ask the person performing the waxing services to make sure that the temperature of the wax is not too hot before it is applied to you. If you have any doubts about the cleanliness of the shop/salon or their adherence to sanitation requirements for waxing, leave and contact TDLR. |
